The Salvation Army in partnership with the Thomas Kelly Youth Foundation, the City of Sydney, The Attorney General and NSW Police are launching Salvo Street Teams in December 2014. These teams will be out on the streets of Sydney over the summer months to help people have a good but safe time in the city.
The Salvo Street Teams will initially be focusing on 2 main areas within the city of Sydney which include George Street and up into Kings Cross.
We are looking for volunteers (over 18 years of age) to work alongside our team to help man our Safe Space zone on George Street or as a mobile Take Kare Ambassadors.
If you are interested in being apart of this we would love to hear from you. We are currently taking expressions of interest from volunteers and will be in contact shortly with more information about the induction and training process.
