Just in the last two months, I was privileged to lead the worship service for the School for the Blind & Visually Impaired's 90th-anniversary celebrations.
I am pictured above with one of the nurses, Angela Smith, whom I worked with at the school.
The whole service was recorded and then replayed on the main local radio station the following Sunday morning as we had many Salvationists commenting that they had heard the broadcast.
This was significant, given that this was my first appointment as the Head Registered Nurse when we came to the Territory in 2012.
Then just last week, Bruce and I were able to celebrate the Christmas Party (pictured right) for the retired officers in Jamaica.
Again, it is an incredible blessing to sit down and talk with the retired officers about their journey now, as well as their memories from the past.
They were also trying hard to help Bruce speak less like an Australian and more like a Jamaican!
