A group of 16 cadets were ordained in Sydney as Salvation Army officers in November. Photos Carolyn Hide. My highlight of 2017 was seeing people embrace “Communities of Hope”.
Seeing them respond to an ‘identified need’ in a community, meeting regularly to intentionally walk alongside people, and meeting needs in a holistic way.
In other words, transforming Australia, one life at a time!
(And, of course, seeing my nephew and his beautiful wife, Matt and Jacqui, commissioned as officers in The Salvation Army.)
