There's alot to list about the latest Marvel movie. Watch the 60-second verdict.

SUMMARY

How’s this for a sci-fi-crossover? Black Panther is the ‘Star Trek’ of the Marvel Universe. Just like Star Trek, Black Panther is built around a superior civilisation with much to offer, that is super careful about sharing its technology. Chadwick Boseman stars as T’Challa, the new king of Wakanda and its super protector, the Black Panther. But there are plenty of people who think he’s not doing a great job, because he’s following the tradition of keeping its super-advanced civilisation a secret. Erik Killmonger, played by Michael B. Jordan, wants to use Wakanda’s technology to lead the world’s oppressed people in an international revolution. So... is that such a bad idea? Black Panther is a fantastic thinking addition to the Marvel universe.

WHAT’S GOOD
There’s no shortage of fantastic fight scenes, chases and character villains.

WHAT’S NOT
This film has received overwhelmingly positive reviews with a whopping 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. There is not much to dislike.

SPIRITUALLY SPEAKING
Black Panther asks the big question, ‘What do we owe the world around us?’
Thankfully Jesus has already answered that question: “Love your neighbours as yourself.” And that’s exactly what the Black Panther decides to do.

The Black Panther is rated M for violence and is now showing.
