According to Pastor David Henderson, a crisis could bring us to a “divinely orchestrated crossroads” that invites us into a deeper connection with Christ.

This short book by Pastor David Henderson appears to have been prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, although it could have been inspired by any worldwide crisis.

Henderson believes a crisis brings us to a “divinely orchestrated crossroads”, providing opportunities for “renewed trust and transformation” – or the opposite. He sees his book “as a game plan for a deeper lifestyle relationship with Christ” and actively participates in our Saviour’s work in the world.

Significantly, he encourages readers to be open to fresh God-inspired convictions through consistent Scripture-fed prayer in community, in our homes, and particularly with our spouse, that encourages such participation.

As COVID-19 spreads, Henderson believes that such collective, desperate prayer by God’s faithful people can lead to the contagious spread of the Gospel around the world. He provides a variety of good suggestions and a four-step plan to achieve that goal.

How to Pray in A Crisis is available online and at Koorong.
