Registrations Extended for Salvo Snow Mission 2014

Living in Jindabyne and the surrounding area can be very expensive during snow season as the price of everyday items such as fuel rises significantly. There are many who struggle financially.It’s like schoolies week for four months straight.

The Salvo Snow Mission will run for two weeks during the NSW school holidays. The Salvation Army will operate a drop-in centre style venue, focusing on getting young people off the streets and where people can escape the winter chill and party scene with good conversation and a cuppa.

The mission is about getting alongside people and doing life. Hanging out and having fun, serving people, making sure they have access to a safe, friendly environment and also that they have access to nutritious food. Held right in the centre of town, the mission will run for 14 days.
