Salvation Army Emergency Services (SAES) crews prepare meals for evacuees and first responders.

Salvation Army Emergency Services (SAES) crews continue to provide practical and emotional support to the thousands of Australians affected by the devastating floods in Queensland and NSW.

Current situation (as of 1 March 2022, pm):
The Salvation Army has provided more than 11,850 meals and refreshments to evacuees and first responders in evacuation centres in South East Queensland and Northern NSW to date.
SAES teams have been deployed from Port Macquarie and Forster to support the NSW North Coast operations.
SAES teams in Southern and Central Queensland are on standby for deployment.
SAES teams are active at the following evacuation centres:
Queensland: Gympie, Ipswich, Caboolture, Dakabin, Chandler, Logan.
NSW: Lismore, Tweed Heads, Grafton.
