Bankstown Salvos is a ‘one-stop’ service hub providing community, affordable meals and social services to all who have a need. It is our goal, says Corps Officer Captain Frank Wang, “to love [other people] with the love of Jesus Christ and ... not be judgemental.” It is our hope “to get more and more opportunities to serve, journey with ... connect and love people” in the hope that others will “come to know God and feel the love of Christ that we experience so profoundly” in our own lives.

It was a joy to meet you at the Vietnam Veterans and Peacekeepers /Peacemakers Service and to see the love and heart of Jesus expressed through you both. We wished that we could have spent more time with you but we left early as I was experiencing post operative pain which made it a bit awkward. We have been looking at your web page and rejoice with you as it is evident that the Lord is doing a great work amongst people in your district through your church and leadership.
Thank you for the short time of fellowship and may the Lord continue to bless you and others through the ministry there. You certainly lifted out spirits!
