International Volunteer Day 2022 - celebrating our volunteers

Every year on 5 December, we get the opportunity to pause and recognise the efforts of volunteers across the globe by celebrating International Volunteer Day.

We are incredibly thankful to our own Salvation Army volunteers who support our many services to the communities in which we live and work.

In this video, General Brian Peddle, International Leader of The Salvation Army, shares his reflections and gratitude for these wonderful volunteers.
