This Easter devotional by Ed Drew is a great cross-generation resource that invites readers to interact with the Easter narrative over 34 days.
Written with the realities of modern life in mind, the daily devotions have a realistic amount of content for each day that can be made shorter or longer by adding object lessons, depending on the time available.
Though it could be used as a self-contained resource (with only a Bible needed to be added), the suggested activities give greater interaction with the Bible verses and bring them to life, making them more relevant to today.
Clearly written daily layouts also help to journey through the Gospel of Luke and parts of the Old Testament, and this allows for customisation to the size and setting of the application.
A useful ‘pick up and go’ resource for individual and family daily devotions, as well as Bible studies and small group settings. This book is also a great starting point for a messy church or intergenerational worship.
The Wonder of Easter is available at Koorong.
